About British Loose Leaf

We are an independent company, owned by its employees. Everyone in our business has a direct interest in the company’s success, creating a culture not usually found in manufacturing. Our customers tell us they notice the difference!

We were trying to work out when BLL first started to manufacture ring binders so we started out by asking our longest serving members of staff (Trish, Clive, Nick and Martin). Even they weren't sure. What we are sure of, is that BLL manufactured the red folders that Sir Winston Churchill used in the Government War Room during World War Two. If you've seen a picture of Sir Winston Churchill holding a red folder under his arm (which can be difficult from a black and white photo) you've probably already seen an example of our early work.

We believe we are now the country's leading manufacturer of ring binders and presentation products. Last year, we delivered over ten million items to happy customers throughout the UK.

Our hi-tech factory is in Crayford, Kent, ten minutes drive off the M25, and an hour from the City of London. We use our own transport so that you can be sure that we'll deliver your order when you need it.

Customers are always welcome to visit us (and often do). We love showing off our automated production and recycling processes (some say that's sad, but we just can't help ourselves. We're just completely dedicated).
