Our concept is the sale of original, design led, stationery products to students through schools and colleges. The students themselves run a business, with materials and support from us, so that they learn about business and enterprise and gain skills that will be helpful for the world of work. It is real, live and exciting and the products on sale are truly original and only available through Original Stationery. Students are able to understand and actually carry out all the business processes involved in developing products and marketing them, including factory visits to see the products being made and our recycling activity. |
Additionally, the profit that would normally be earned by retailers goes instead to school funds. This can be substantial amounts - and can be used in whatever way each school decides. The sale or return policy ensures minimum risk for schools to participate, and we also invite the students involved to visit us and see the products being made, and our recycling activity.
