ENVIRONMENTAL LAMINATION
Lamination of litho printed paper is used to give a hard wearing and attractive finish on paper over board binders. Until now, that lamination has been made from polypropylene, which means that the plastic and board cannot be separated for recycling.
There is now an environmental option, called Cellogreen, which is produced from wood pulp based cellulose. This is fully recyclable when included with the board and paper of a binder. We have tested Cellogreen and found it to be excellent. We recommend it to customers in place of polypropylene lamination, to maximise recycling and reduce the amount of waste sent to landfill. Naturally we use it for our laminated standard products.

INFORMATION ON RING MECHANISMS
There are three common types of fittings that we use on a daily basis, they consist of:
| Fitting sheet sizes and gauges |
Where to measure the capacity |
.jpg) |
.jpg) |
These are available in 2,3,4 & 6 rings, with varying gauges to suit all paper types. They are available in capacities from 10mm to 100mm.
Generally, round ring mechanisms are fitted into the spine - D & Arch rings to back cover.
The capacity is determined by measuring the mechanism as shown above, not by measuring the spine which is always greater. For example; 25mm capacity = 41mm spine, 40mm capacity = 58mm spine, 50mm capacity = 78mm spine.
It is sometimes difficult to measure the capacity of a fitting, but there are only certain capacities for styles of fittings. Example a D ring which measures 39mm capacity will be 40mm, and a round ring which measures 33m will be a 32mm.
